It is a high winter floating week (you can use a different week each yr), from Mid December to 1st week of April each year. This Timeshare is a spacious studio and just a few minute walk from downtown/casinos in Reno, Nevada. It has great views of the city, mountains and Nevada landscape. The staff is very courteous and helpful and has inside valet parking should you not want to park outside. It is one block from downtown (much quieter than the strip) and short walks to shopping, museums, restaurants and the casinos. A very large indoor pool, a great hot tub on the top floor with a great view of the city and a gym. Right on the Truckee River and a park for walking and enjoying meals. They have free Wifi in every room with a free 24 hour computer and printer in the main lobby. A nice game room with a pool table and you can borrow from a large selection of movie tapes, books or games to take to your room. You can request a room with 2 queens or a king with a pull out couch and the rooms come with a microwave, fridge, toaster, cabinets, dressers and dishes upon request. ..THIS UNIT IS RCI COMPATIBLE, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS JOIN RCI FOR WORLDWIDE EXCHANGE, COOL HUH???. And! do not forget there are taxi's upon request to go anywhere at anytime of the day or an indoor garage at the time share. All you pay is this years maintenance fees! and you are ready to go to RENO! We were very impressed with the Plaza Resort - the accommodations in our studio unit were excellent - king size bed, sofa, round table with 4 chairs, lots of dressers/storage, microwave, small frig, coffee maker, even a toaster. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate were available 24 hours and pastries were offered each morning. As we were on a timeshare exchange, we were pleasantly surprised to be offered free "light" daily cleaning - made the bed, emptied garbages, put out fresh towels. The pool, hot tub area and exercise facilities looked very nice. The Plaza is within walking distance of several casinos. Reno reminded me of Downtown Las Vegas. Enjoyed being able to gamble at lower rates - $2 blackjack, 50 cent roulette and lots of penny and nickle slots..................................................... .................................................................................. "A small clean gem!" This place is located near the beautiful river in one direction and the casinos a couple of blocks the other direction. This has to have had one of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen! We had the room with 2 queen beds. It would be crowded for 4 people for very long, but it works. The room was much nicer than the room my sister had at The Grand Sierra. It is really a nice motel room, but with a microwave, small refrigerator, toaster, small coffee pot. As long as you are not expecting a large one bedroom unit with a kitchen, you should be fine. The breakfast is only Costco type pastries but they are better than nothing. There are many beautiful antiques to enjoy all over the 7th floor and entry room. I would definetly return there as long as I was looking for a small place and nice getaway............................................................. ...................................................................................We had a room on the 11th floor over looking Reno. It was very nice, clean and comfortable. On the weekend we attended a hosted wine and cheese party. Again very nice. The indoor pool and hot tub on the 7th floor were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful and even offered to print our airline-boarding pass for us. Free Coffee, Tea, Hot chocolate and pastries were provided each morning. We used the free wi-fi in our room a great deal. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance. It goes up and down the strip every 10 minutes and it's free also. We're going to be staying here on our next trip to Reno. This hotel is only a block off the strip but so quite.
