Camp Farwell, www.farwell.com, is the oldest girls camp in America! Owned and operated by the Hanson Family for 40 years, we are experts in the camping world.
Farwell is the traditional camp for the modern family and we are continuously working to create a diverse community for campers and staff. Our non-competitive philosophy is ideal in helping our girls develop self-confidence, positive self-concept and creating friends from around the world. A low camper to staff ratio of 2.5:1 is perfect for the first time camper.
We offer a completely elective activity program with over 25 different activities to choose from each week, including horseback riding, pottery, tennis, kayaking, water skiing, cooking, animal care, theater, music, photography, arts and crafts, sailing, archery and more! Our location is nestled 'neath the green pines on Halls Lake. We are the only summer camp on the lake, which allows us a great deal of privacy.
We welcome campers between the ages of 6-17, and offer 1-7 week sessions. Custom sessions are also available.
