SONY PDR 170 DIGITAL CAMCORDER. Mini-DV, 3ccdm Camera, Hard Shell Sony Camera case, wide angle lens. Hardly used. I shot no more than a dozen or so events with it. The Tape head has no more than 80 hours on it. These are good for thousands of hours, so this is like-new.  Fighting Cancer and haven’t worked since February due to Covid and forced to move so I  must downsize, otherwise I would keep it. Great compact Digital Camera, easy to use. Stereo audio XLR input. Mini DV and SD media. Dual XLR audio inputs. Lots of “Bells and Whistles” like Zoom, automatic functions, Manual Zoom Adjustment, Night Mode, Image Stabilization, etc. Check it out on Youtube.com. They have some great instruction Videos on it up there. Never had a problem with it. It even looks new, not a scratch on it outside of the mounting base. The only flaw is the foam in the case is disintegrating for some reason but the foam can easily be replaced. It uses Mini-DV Cassettes. I recommend using the Sony DVC 60-minute Cassettes that come 5 in a pack. This unit has multiple outputs to run to computer monitor. The DSR-PD170 DVCAM compact camcorder provides high quality acquisition in the DVCAM component digital format, as well as in DV, allowing up to 40 minutes recording on one tape Mini DVCAM tape, or 60 minutes on the same tape in the DV mode. This compact camcorder features three Advanced HAD 1/3-inch CCDs that allow two scanning modes: 480 progressive (for still) and interlaced (for video). Optical Zoom: (12x). All that I expected and a little more.   Works good and has a couple features such as ability to shoot still pictures during shooting video, and also low light capability with time lapse filming. The LCD Screen rotates and folds back so it can be seen from the front, side or rear. Multiple Component outputs.

Net weight of the case loaded is 20 lbs.

Here’s what it comes with: Sony DSR-PD170 Camera Body SN #1123256. 7.2V
