Right in the center of town, but set back about an acre from the Main Road, it is the remaining part of what was originally a 2,000-acre waterfront farm. The five-bedroom Main House is Italianate and over 150 years old. The
Barn can comfortably sleep 7 people in 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The estate has a television, internet, and air conditioning! Linens are provided. Please note that there is a minimum stay of 2 nights at this property.
It features a sprawling front porch with tables for dining. There are several other outdoor patios and terraces for rest, reading, cocktails or cuisine. The property is an award-winning garden which has been used for countless fundraisers and some breathtaking weddings. It is within walking distance to downtown Cutchogue, which is home to the oldest house in New York State (now a museum), a public golf course, historical churches, a world-class library, an art gallery, a town green boasting numerous events, shops and several popular restaurants.
The Hampton Jitney bus stop is well within walking distance. About three miles in either direction are beaches on Great Peconic Bay or the Long Island Sound. A local bicycle rental shop makes touring the area a breeze. Tasting rooms are steps away, as are stables.
